Whilst there’s no character limit on “text blocks” – I’d recommend limiting to a sentence or two… (150 characters or less). A concise sentence is far more impactful than an aimless paragraph.
Teaser descriptions should be a single sentence and not exceed 80 characters.
... as will be displayed in SERPS (Google results) and if shared.
Try to use exclamation marks sparingly and end teaser descriptions with full stops.
Aspect ratio is 3x2 (landscape) - so try and avoid portrait images when poss.
Max 250 characters for split blocks… If you think more words are needed, then it probably deserves a page dedicated to it – (better for SEO that way, too).
Each Recipe should have:
An appetizing image (or more)
Teaser description (80 chars)
Ingredients and Directions
Total Time to Cook
Portion Size and difficulty level
Recipe Type / Gluten-Free etc.
Nutrition Values (Fat, Protein, Carb and Calories)
To create an article, just go to Posts / Add New.. Assign the category to activate the theme and presto!
